Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how See My New Roof ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when roofing contractors subscribe to our Service and when homeowners use the visualizer widget embedded on a contractor's website. This policy covers two groups: Contractors (subscribers) and Homeowners (people who use a contractor's embedded widget).
1. Information we collect
Contractors
- Account details: name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Billing details: payment is processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
- Preferences: which roofing brands and materials you offer, and widget settings.
Homeowners
- Lead details you submit in the visualizer form: name, email address, phone number, and property address.
- Visualization details: the address you enter, the materials and colors you select, and the rendered result.
- Technical data: the page URL where the widget is embedded, and basic device/browser information needed to run the visualizer.
2. How we use information
- To render visualizations of a home with selected roofing materials.
- To deliver lead information to the contractor whose website the widget appeared on, so they can contact you about your project.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to provide contractor support.
- To process subscription payments and send service communications (receipts, password resets, account notices).
We do not sell homeowner lead information, and we do not use it to market our own products.
3. Third-party services
The Service relies on the following categories of providers:
- Imagery and maps: Google Maps, Street View, and satellite imagery are used to locate the property and frame the visualization. When a homeowner enters an address, that address is shared with these services to retrieve imagery. Their own privacy terms apply to that use.
- AI rendering: addresses and imagery are sent to our AI rendering provider to generate the visualization. Renders are used only to produce the homeowner's result.
- Payments: subscription payments are handled by our payment provider, which processes card data under its own privacy policy.
- Hosting and authentication: our hosting and authentication providers store account data and lead records on our behalf.
4. Who leads belong to
When you submit a lead through a contractor's embedded widget, your name, contact details, address, and material selections are shared with that contractor so they can follow up on your request. That contractor becomes responsible for your information once they receive it; their own privacy policy governs how they contact and market to you. We retain lead records to operate the contractor's dashboard and for security and record-keeping.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your session, and keep the visualizer working. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
- Contractor account data is kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.
- Lead records are kept while the receiving contractor's account is active; deleted accounts result in deletion of their lead data within 90 days, unless law requires longer retention.
- Rendered images may be cached temporarily to keep repeat visualizations fast.
7. Security
We protect data in transit and at rest, restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis, and require authentication for all dashboard access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to its processing. Homeowners should first contact the contractor they interacted with, since they control the lead relationship; contractors and homeowners can also contact us directly at getlifteddigital@gmail.com and we will help. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in parts of the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and announce material changes on the Service.
